Week 2



So, today is Monday, the start of week 2 as a Nerium Brand Partner and I am still as excited as ever!

I had my first Nerium Real Results Launch party on Saturday and although I only had 3 people of the 30 that I invited show up, I think it was a fantastic success!  I was not able to sign up 3 preferred customers or 3 brand partners, in fact, I wasn't able to sign up any, so I'll bet you're wondering why I still consider my party a success.  Let me tell you why... it was great practice for me to do the planning, the setup and then watching my uplines run the show. I feel like I learned a ton from the experience.

I ended up serving meatloaf, mashed potatoes and a salad with bite sized gluten free cupcakes with Nerium blue frosting, silver sugar sprinkles and a glittery white Nerium "N" on them, they were adorable and everyone loved the food!

Today my goal is to follow up with one lead that I had for a potential brand partner and see if I can convince one of the gals at work here who has tried it and liked it to sign up as a preferred customer.

I also am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my Nerium t-shirt and bumper stickers that I ordered to arrive.

I will be attending my first Nerium training meeting tonight as a brand partner and am very excited to go.  I will fill you in tomorrow about how it went and if I was able to achieve my goal of signing up my preferred customer and brand partner.

Day 4 - Feeling Pretty Good!

So today is Friday, day 4 as an Independent Brand Partner with Nerium International. 

I have been preparing to host my first Real Results launch party.  I've sent out all of the invitations through Facebook, Evite, Neriums Communications Center, Texting and calling everyone I know.  I'm still very nervous that although I have invited over 30 people that I may only have 2 or 3 show up, but I'm praying for the best.

I have completed the three disc Jeff Olsen training CD's since I spend around 2/12 - 3 hours per day in my car driving to work and back. I have also listened to the Nerium Launch Party training CD and picked up some great pointers from that as well.

As excited as I am to share this with everyone, I have been just as excited about learning how to treat this as a career and not just a hobby.  I have been learning to become a Network Marketing Professional and it has been so much fun trying to take it all in.  I have truly never seen a company put so much effort into making sure that their brand partners succeed.

I have been continuing to grow my list using the memory jogger system and am really surprised at how many people I know.  I even decided to talk to some of the men that I work with and they've agreed to pass it along to their wives, I'm still working on trying to get them to try it themselves.

Well, I think I have decided to do a mexican lasagna for dinner tomorrow night, it's easy, I can make enough to feed everyone (hopefully more than just 2 people or I'm going to have a ton of leftovers) and everyone loves it.

Day 3 - So Excited

I wanted to start today's post off with a video because I know that I lot of you out there still arent' familiar with Nerium and what it could truly do to improve the way you feel about your skin.

So, I just heard a saying yesterday and it really does describe my current state of mind.  I was telling my upline about everything I've been doing, watching training video, reading the book, listening to the CD's in the car, sending out invites to my party, emailing everyone I have an email address for the videos from the communications center and her response to me was not what I was expecting.  Her response to me was something like... "Uh oh, you've caught it" of course my reaction was... "oh no, what did I do wrong"  then she says... "nope, you've done nothing wrong, but you have caught the Nerium Delierium bug".  After I realized she was actually giving me a compliment, I relaxed and said... "Yep, I believe I have."

I am on full steam ahead, I can't seem to get enough of this, I really want to know everything I  possibly can and I want to know it now. The CD's by Jeff Olsen that came in the kit and the book, Go Pro - 7 Steps to Becoming A Network Marketing Professional by Eric Worre has really fired me up and made me believe that I CAN do this!

My party is scheduled for this Saturday and I'm truly fearful that I will only have 2 people show up after everyone I've contacted seems to have some other prior engagement. So my plan is to send out more invites tomorrow and start calling and texting everyone to make sure they will come if they can.  I am going to make a list of things to pick up from the store tomorrow to help me prepare.  So here's my list:

1. Picture frames - to print and display before and after real Nerium results
2. Tablecloth - I want to try to find something in Nerium blue
3. Digital Picture Frame - I borrowed one from my Auntie
4. Brochure Display - Going to pick some of these up at the office supply store
5. Magazine Display - Also at the office supply store
6. Food - I will be serving dinner to my guests (haven't quite decided what yet, I will let you  
                 know later what I decide)
7. Wine - I already have several bottles at home, (people like to give me bottles for Christmas)
8. Wine Glasses - Going to pick some up for cheap at the thrift store (don't worry I will sanatize
                                 the heck out of them.)
9. Clip boards - Hoping they may have some at the thrift store, but may need to get these from
                            the office supply store as well, I will need one for each guest.
10. Pens - Going to pick up a cheap box of pens from the office supply store also

That seems to be all I can think of for now, but I am sure I will find something else that I just couldn't do without while I am out shopping because that's just what I do (I love to shop)!

Anywho, off to bed, I am going to get in a few more pages of the book before I nod off!

Day 2

So I sort of feel like a sponge trying to absorb as much information as I possibly can. 

I have been reading the Go Pro - 7 Steps to Becoming A Network Marketing Professional by Eric Worre (great book), watching the Nerium university training videos and listening to the 3 disc training CD's in the car.  I've organized my Nerium sales bag, handed out flyers and product to family and coworkers, scheduled and promoted my Real Results party and ordered my Nerium tshirt and bumper stickers.

I am so very excited to yell to the world about Nerium and what it can do to enrich their lives!

I Became A Nerium Brand Partner

Yesterday I officially became a Nerium Independent Brand Partner and I couldn't be more excited to get started.  I thought it would be fun to share my experience with others through this blog and hopefully it might be helpful to someone down the road.
